Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Principal to join our school leadership team. The Assistant Principal will work closely with the Principal to manage school operations, support student academic achievement, ensure a safe and positive school environment, and assist in the overall implementation of school policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Principal in the administration of daily school operations, including managing schedules, student behavior, and academic programs.
- Oversee student discipline and conduct, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement educational strategies that enhance student learning and performance.
- Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff performance, providing feedback and supporting professional development.
- Ensure effective communication between school administration, teachers, students, and parents.
- Lead efforts to improve student attendance, academic achievement, and school culture.
- Manage school events, extracurricular activities, and student programs.
- Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining a safe school facility.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
- Certification as a school administrator or educational leader.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching or administrative experience in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, students, and the community.
- Deep knowledge of current educational practices, policies, and state regulations.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
