Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Education Policy Analyst to join our research team. The Education Policy Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing educational policies, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making in the field of education. This role requires a strong background in education policy, data analysis, and a passion for improving education systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on current education policies, trends, and issues, both at the local, state, and national levels.
- Analyze the impact of educational policies and initiatives on student outcomes, teachers, and educational institutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, and presentations for stakeholders, including educational leaders, policymakers, and advocacy groups.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies to develop policy recommendations and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in education law, funding, and best practices to inform policy analysis and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, funding applications, and educational program evaluations.
- Advocate for data-driven policy decisions that promote equitable educational opportunities for all students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education Policy, Public Policy, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Proven experience in education policy analysis, research, or advocacy.
- Strong knowledge of the education system, including current policies, regulations, and challenges.
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing policy briefs and reports.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software and research methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A commitment to promoting equity and excellence in education.
