Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Instructional Coach to join our educational team. The Instructional Coach will work directly with teachers and school leaders to improve instructional practices, enhance student outcomes, and implement effective teaching strategies. This position requires a strong background in pedagogy, classroom management, and a passion for supporting educator development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to identify areas of instructional improvement and provide personalized coaching and support.
- Facilitate professional development workshops, training sessions, and instructional seminars for teachers and staff.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
- Observe classroom instruction and provide feedback to teachers on teaching practices, student engagement, and assessment techniques.
- Assist in the development and integration of curriculum and instructional materials that align with state standards and school goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration among educators to promote ongoing professional growth.
- Analyze student performance data to identify trends and make recommendations for instructional improvements.
- Build strong relationships with educators to encourage open communication, feedback, and positive professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- Certification in teaching or educational leadership.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in teaching, with a proven record of improving student outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum development, and student assessment.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing educational environment.
